Safety

Safety is part of the work plan.

We maintain a written Safety & Health Program for the installation and maintenance of motor-fuel systems. It shapes how every job is planned, staffed and closed out.

  • Pre-job planning

Site hazard assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs) and documented daily briefings before work begins, and again whenever conditions change.

  • Stop-work authority

Every employee is empowered to stop work when conditions appear unsafe, until the hazard is addressed.

  • High-risk work controls

Defined procedures for excavation, confined spaces, electrical and lockout/tagout, heavy equipment and fall protection.

  • Quality closeout

Testing verifies system operation, and progress photography and closeout documentation are retained for turnover.

High-risk work

Defined procedures for the hazards of fuel work.

Petroleum construction combines deep excavations, flammable product, heavy equipment and live electrical. Each of those hazards has a written procedure, and crews are briefed on it before the work starts.

  • Excavation & trenching
  • Confined spaces
  • Electrical & LOTO
  • Heavy equipment
  • Fall protection

Safe, documented, done right.
